Summer of 1998 I joined Sony as a Marketing Assistant in their B2B division, I spent the next 10 years learning, questioning, researching, measuring – focussed on driving effectiveness through creativity and new media innovations. In 2008 I had my first real taste of big campaign marketing becoming the Head of Brand & Advertising for Sony UK’s consumer electronics division. Summer 2013 and I leapt at an opportunity to become Global Advertising Lead for Shell’s entire Retail business. Today I lead global comms for a dozen different sub-brands, manage world-leading agencies, multi-million dollar budgets, and I love every second of it
